About Us

The Pastors:

   James and Terri Prescott are the Pastors of New Beginning World Outreach in Port Arthur, Texas.  They are pastors to an excited church who welcomes the next move of God.  Pastor James and Terri are both graduates of New Light Christian Center Church School of Ministry in Houston, Texas under Dr. I.V. and Bridget Hillard.  The church began in 2001 when Pastor Terri started a bible study in their home with just and handful of women and then some years later Pastor Jimmy followed with a men's bible study in their home. They moved into their first building in 2006 and started a weekly bible study,then in 2009 they embarked upon  fulltime ministry.  Pastor Terri serves as Senior Pastor and delivers the message on Sunday with boldness and simplicity.  Pastor Jimmy as he is affectionately known, teaches the Wednesday night bible study as he breaks down the bible in such a simplistic manner.  The two are excited to see what God  will do in the ministry in the coming seasons!

We Believe:

....the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God

.....there is one GOD eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God theSon, and God the Holy Spirit

.....in the diety of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life,in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years.

.....in the blessed hope-the rapture of the Church at Christ's coming.

.....the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.

.....regeneration by the Holy Spirt is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

.....the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.

.....in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.

.....in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
